Interactive flight planning
Enter a U.S. street address to see the FAA airspace class, published facility-map ceiling, nearby facility, and the likely authorization path. This planning check uses current public FAA data.
Google provides address suggestions. Manually entered addresses use the U.S. Census geocoder. Ed Zak Photo does not save your search.
Planning information only. An FAA facility-map ceiling is not permission to fly. Controlled-airspace operations require an authorization through an FAA-approved LAANC provider or FAA DroneZone.
This lookup does not check temporary flight restrictions, NOTAMs, weather, national-security restrictions, local rules, property permission, or conditions that change after the search. The remote pilot remains responsible for the final preflight review.
A broader perspective
Aerial photography reveals the scale, location, and surroundings of a property in a way ground-level photographs cannot. Buyers can see how a home relates to the water, golf course, neighborhood, coastline, or nearby amenities.
Ed Zak Photo creates still photographs and aerial video for real estate professionals, property owners, businesses, hospitality properties, and development teams. The aerial work is planned to support the complete visual story, alongside ground photography, property video, and 3D tours when needed.
Ed is an FAA-certified drone pilot as well as a certificated fixed-wing and helicopter pilot. His aviation experience brings practical knowledge of airspace, weather, flight planning, and safe professional operations to every assignment.
What aerial imagery can show
Show the relationship between the property, the Intracoastal, nearby inlets, marinas, beaches, and the ocean.
Give buyers a clear view of fairways, lakes, community amenities, neighboring homes, and the wider setting.
Document buildings, land parcels, construction progress, access routes, and the scale of a larger property.
Selected aerial work

Planning the flight
The best altitude, angle, and time of day depend on what the property needs to communicate. Waterfront access may call for a lower oblique view, while acreage, commercial sites, and community context often benefit from a wider perspective.
Weather, airspace restrictions, nearby airports, temporary flight restrictions, and site conditions can affect scheduling. Ed reviews the location and plans each flight before the appointment.
